On April 29th, 2034, Zoobs and ElmonX will release their Kate Middleton and Prince William Anniversary NFT collection.
Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding
ElmonX, based in London, UK, will release its highly anticipated ZOOBS NFT collection on April 29, 2023. This will coincide with the 12th anniversary of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding and the 12th anniversary of the first editions of “God Save the Future Queen and King of Pop” that were shown at the Opera gallery.
After being featured on BBC, Dolce & Gabbana purchased the original ZOOBS and put them on display at the Bond Street gallery for six months. They were then shown off at the grand opening of the men’s Dolce & Gabbana store on Bond Street, where Kylie Minogue and Roberto Bolle were in attendance. The store kept the ZOOBS collection for an impressive seven years.
Among ElmonX’s most notable NFT releases are: the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night, and world-renowned artists like: Patrick Hughes and Cécile Plaisance.
British artist Zoobs Ansari, who is of Indian and Pakistani descent, investigates society’s obsession with celebrity, popular culture, and physical perfection through personal experience. His works, which include sculpture, photography, audio, video, and performance, draw inspiration from music, fashion, art, and film.
Zoobs’ early experiences, such as the sudden death of his father and difficulties assimilating into various cultural settings, had a profound impact on him and fueled his artistic expression. Zoobs switched from commercial photography to more intimate work, experimenting with mixed media and creating distinctive portraits that received praise. Zoobs’ most recent work examines the consequences of obsessive fame-seeking in the age of social media, drawing inspiration from Warhol.

About The Drop
Two mixed-media artworks featuring Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are now the Prince and Princess of Wales, were created by British artist Zoobs Ansari in 2011 under the titles “God Save the Future Queen” and “King of Pop.” These wood sculptures, 48 inches by 36 inches, combine digital imagery, lettering montage, and Zoobs’ signature paintwork. They were part of a series he called “scrolls,” and he started making them on wood instead of heavyweight art paper at first.
Dolce & Gabbana eventually purchased the works, which were unveiled at a gallery in London and were framed in Victorian frames that increased their size by 12 inches. Restricted version prints were likewise delivered and sold out soon. The works will now be released as interactive NFTs on the 12th wedding anniversary of the Prince and Princess of Wales, approximately 12 years after they were first created. They were inspired by the artwork on the vinyl record “Sex Pistols.”
To keep track of digital assets, ElmonX makes use of a decentralized, immutable blockchain database. Through augmented reality, collectors can interact with NFTs, and beta mobile apps are available for users to reserve usernames.
The beta versions of ElmonX’s apps, which aim to enhance the NFT collecting experience for licensed goods, artwork, digital goods, animation, and experiences, are currently available for download.
