Due to the popularity of the Australian author’s debut novel, Shawline Publishing announced on Wednesday that it would be republished on February 25 with additional one hundred pages and new content.

Paul Rushworth said that he wanted to improve the story because it was so good. Over the course of five years as an author, you gain so much knowledge. As if he were writing it now, he wanted to rewrite it. It has catchy hooks, and the characters have grown stronger.

2015 ad-set

Skulduggery is a 1700s tale of love and religious tolerance set on Yorkshire’s moors. According to publisher Bradley Shaw, Paul’s novels are authentic and gritty, with unexpected turns. He depicts the lives of peasants in the 17th century in a realistic way; However, this is just the backdrop for a romantic, suspenseful, and enigmatic tale.

Historical Fiction

Paul explained that he looked through history for fascinating tales of ordinary people coping with shifting tides. Understanding what took place is made possible by reading history. When we read fiction set in the past, we are able to be moved by what happened. We keep looking for meaning and logic even after we have the facts. That is the very core of what makes us human.

Paul makes an effort to bring the reader into the inner lives of people from different eras and locations. By doing so, he makes history’s untold tales visible to the reader, allowing them to experience a more nuanced truth.
