Denise responded that she had so much inside of her that needed to come out when asked what inspired her to write Emergence of Me. She had an inner story that she believed others could relate to. Even though she didn’t believe in herself, she discovered how much God loved her and had so much for her to accomplish. As a result, she wanted to put herself out there.
Denise hopes that her book will encourage readers to believe in themselves, touch their souls, and recognize their potential. Her why in doing what she does and composing what she composes is a result of how she saw herself. She felt lost because she believed she was failing and was overwhelmed with disappointments. However, she knew deep down that she was not doing what she was meant to do.
