John Cena, a WWE superstar, may be the greatest wrestler ever. However, he will always be remembered as the person who holds the Guinness World Record for granting more wishes to children who are terminally ill than any other human being.

“I’ve never gotten so much pleasure and satisfaction as when I’m helping sick kids make their dreams come true,” said John Cena explained when asked why he does it.

Cena is not stopping there, as that number is rapidly approaching 700 at this point. Cena has paid for himself to visit sick children all over the country through the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Steve Comisar

Actor Steve Comisar joined the bandwagon as soon as he saw what John Cena was doing. Comisar felt as though something was missing from his life following his recent release from prison for fraud. He felt that Hollywood had abandoned him because he had committed a mistake and been imprisoned, as he was not getting any acting work.

Comisar made the decision to do something good with his free time to repay society for his transgressions. So, he called Make-A-Wish and inquired about how he could assist in granting wishes to sick children.

Some very fortunate children will be able to see The Lion King in February from the second row of the iconic Pantages theater in Hollywood thanks to Steve Comisar and Make-A-Wish. The children who are critically ill will be selected by Make-A-Wish to receive a night of joy and entertainment that they will cherish for the rest of their lives. Make-A-Wish received the two VIP tickets for the second row from Comisar. A backstage meet-and-greet with the cast members prior to the performance and a limo ride to and from the performance are included in the over $200 value of the tickets for this sold-out performance. Comisar will give homeless people hundreds of $25 Starbucks gift cards and donate tickets to WWE Smackdown next month.

“It’s all about giving back,” said Steve Comisar. “I can’t wait to see the big smiles on those kids faces as they watch the most successful and longest running Broadway production in history.”

“Steve made some mistakes and went to prison for it,” commented Steve Comisar’s publicist, Jennifer Gray. “Now he’s trying to redeem himself to society with selfless acts of kindness. I hope some Hollywood A-listers out there read this and help Steve get some acting jobs so he can contine his once promising career.

Make-A-Wish Foundation

For the past 25 years, Make-A-Wish has granted wishes to children who are critically ill. Their tenet is that granting wishes improves one’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Numerous famous people have given away tickets to Disneyland, Broadway shows, sporting events, and concerts over the years. In addition, Make-A-Wish helps children meet their favorite movie stars, WWE Superstars, and professional athletes.
